Respect and excellence are the core values that permeate the life of Tranby College, an independent school of the Uniting Church in Australia. Working within a purposeful, creative, Christian community of learners, boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, with help from their teachers and parents, challenge and support each other to become the best they can be. The College offers a generalised programme and a range of opportunities that encourage students to develop academic, artistic, emotional, physical and social skills, to become spiritually aware and to make a positive contribution to society. The Tranby Community is noted for its acceptance of all who commit to joining us and students choose words such as caring, united, friendly, helpful, close, relaxed and challenging to describe their school. As they journey through the College, students are given increasing levels of responsibility for their learning and relationships and we hear many positive comments from the outside community about the character and work readiness of our year twelves. Our graduates, having completed university, TAFE or training, are making a contribution to many different endeavours.
